She’s the First is proud to announce that we’ve been awarded a grant from Together Women Rise in support of our mission to ensure girls everywhere are educated, respected, and heard.
Together Women Rise is a powerful community of women and allies dedicated to global gender equality. It has hundreds of local chapters across the U.S. where members come together to learn about and advocate for gender equality issues, give grants to organizations that empower women and girls in the Global South, and build community to forge meaningful connections with each other and with women around the world.
This grant reflects their recognition of our meaningful work to impact girls' lives positively. We're grateful for their support and excited about the possibilities it opens up for us.

It is an impressive model – creating coalitions and designing programs for what is needed by partner organizations, like a focus on sexual reproductive health.”
