Ask a former STF Intern:
As an intern at She’s the First, I not only had the opportunity to learn from both my successes and failures, but was given the freedom to think on my feet, and make my own decisions. What I love most about She’s the First is that though the organization has a large female presence, the organization is not about women superiority, but about truly creating a world with equality in education.
– Sagar Gultai, Summer 2016
Being an intern at She’s the First is unlike any other work experience I’ve had so far; it’s a unique office environment where the staff is intimately connected and the assignments are both interesting and challenging. You’ll have many opportunities to network and develop new skills, all while being supported by your co-workers and knowing that you’re working to achieve an incredible mission.
– Josia Klein, Summer 2016
Working at She’s the First was the most illuminating and inspiring experience of my life, because not only did we learn about the inner workings of a successful, ethical nonprofit, we also got to see the the results of so much passion and hard work through the Summit and interactions with Scholars.
– Raquel Dominguez, Summer 2016
My experience inspired me to set more concrete professional goals for myself. The best part is that your connections formed here won’t end even after your time in the office has. I’ve continued to stay in touch and feel supported by the She’s the First family.
– Eva Scazzero, Spring 2015
“Interning at She’s the First was by far my favorite internship ever. It was the first time I got to be a part of something so much bigger than myself, while at the same time feeling that every little thing I did helped move us forward.
– Vivian Nunez, Fall 2012
