Join us for a worldwide kickoff via a livestream, featuring the STF team and special guests!

Thurs, Sept 24-Sat, Sept 26:

Deep-dive into 3 girl-centered issues, taking daily actions in designated Action Groups. You’ll also have dedicated action-planning time to brainstorm for the future. Prepare to make change now and later!

Sun, Sept 27:

Tune in to the Week of Action conclusion: See what impact we’ve created together and learn about the next phase of the #GirlsCantWait campaign and our International Day of the Girl plans.

+ Who is this for? Can anyone join in?

The Week of Action is designed for high school/college age students and young adults. If you're a working professional or NGO leader, we invite you to join our online community or the Girls First Network instead! She’s the First welcomes people of all gender identities, expressions, and backgrounds—anyone who wants to see a more gender-equal world should feel welcome.

+ What do I need in order to participate?

You’ll need access to a strong Internet/WiFi connection and/or data on a phone. Each day’s activities include a live-streamed program, as well as group working time online.

+ Will each day’s program be recorded?

Yes—while you’ll want to join live for the most engaging experience, you can still watch a recap of the daily programming online.

+ Will I meet other girl advocates?

Absolutely. At the start of the week, you’ll be introduced to your Action Group made up of peers from around the world. You’ll also have the chance to stay connected afterwards!
