Accommodations

Hotels & Hostels
We’ve reserved a block of rooms for your convenience at the Fairfield Inn & Suites at 116 West 28th Street, which is a short walk from the Summit. The block will be available until July 2 but may fill up sooner, so book early to guarantee your spot. Additional room blocks may be added as the event approaches.

New York City has dozens options for accommodations on a budget. HI NYC and the Chelsea International Hostel are both a quick subway ride away from the venue.

Roommate Finder
Are you traveling to NYC alone or in a pair for the Summit? We can help you find a roommate! Accommodations are always more affordable when you share them, so fill out this form to be matched with other students who are also traveling in from out of town.

Summit attendees share why STF is meaningful in their lives and communities:

"It's the amazing discussions, the friendships, and our passion to change the world that make the #STFSummit one of my favorite events of the year. I'm going home feeling empowered and full of energy to continue to fight for girls' education." - Luciana S.

Who is this for?

This event is ideal for leaders, members, and advisors of STF Campus Chapters; high school and college students; and anyone who is planning to start a chapter on their campus this upcoming year!

On Thursday, August 2nd, there will be an evening event open to the general public—your student admission to the conference includes access to this event.

Is this for female-identifying people only?

Nope, anyone who wants to see a more gender-equal world should feel welcome!

Can I purchase a single-day ticket?

If you're a campus chapter leader, your ticket to STF Summit includes the full program of events Thursday-Saturday.

If you're purchasing a ticket to the general public event, that will be for Thursday night only (and will be on sale soon!). It is a standalone ticket, and less than the full weekend ticket.

You’ll get the most out of the Summit if you plan to be there the whole time. Program will begin at 9:00 am on Thursday and end at 4:00 pm on Saturday so plan your travel accordingly. Email [email protected] if you know you’ll be arriving late.

Can I arrive late/leave early?

Yes, but they need to purchase a separate registration.

This is a student-driven experience & attendees will get the most out of it if they’re able to freely interact & connect with peers, We encourage chaperones to give them the space to do this.

Are parent chaperones allowed to attend?

Admission to the closed STF Summit Campus Chapter leader sessions on Thursday and Friday, lunch and snacks on Thursday and Friday, admission to the public speaker event Thursday night, materials for the public activism campaign on Saturday, and a She's the First t-shirt.

*Not included: transportation, accommodations, breakfast and dinner
