On Facebook, invite others to rally behind girls like Maheshwari in India. When you share, tag She’s the First in your post, add the “Donate” button, and be the first to give.
Bonus: Starting at 8AM on Giving Tuesday (11/27), there will be a Facebook match up to $7 million!
On Giving Tuesday, you’ll support a group of STF Scholars at Mahesh’s alma mater in India, who call themselves Igniting Change. The 10th-12th grade scholars chose this name because, “we may be just a spark in the universe but a spark can lead to a wildfire of change.” As leaders in their community, they are dedicated to giving back themselves, by teaching younger STF Scholars about hygiene, health, and community.

HOST A SCREENING: In the office on November 27? Book a conference room and screen this video, as well as Magho, which was about Mahesh’s high school graduation. (14:30 total minutes) Start a conversation and explore whether girls’ education is a cause your company can support in 2019.
RALLY AROUND A GOAL: Create a formal fundraiser on Facebook with a specific goal (ex: $1,000 supports one girl’s experience in She’s the First: her schooling, Girls’ Group mentoring, & leadership training).
