Very interesting, Natasha! I like the prayer- it's a nice way to unify the student body with values that anyone should have, regardless of their personal religion.

Can't wait to here about school!

Hello Grace, Elizabeth and Happiness, As always we are always happy to hear from you here at She's The First. Exams are always a stressful time, a lot of studying and hard work. But as long as you do your very best, that is all that matters. I can imagine that you are all anxious to get to go home to visit with your families, have home cooked food and relax for a month or so before going back to school. Sounds like it has been quite some time since you have been home. What holiday do you celebrate this time of year? Tomorrow, the first Monday in September is a holiday in the USA that we call "Labor Day". It is a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity and well-being of our country.
Most schools usually start the day after this holiday after having the summer off. Wish you girls all the best on your holiday, and yes Grace we will keep you all in our prayers so you can all do something wonderful. You girls have already shared all the wonderful accomplishments you have made this far and you make us all so proud! Keep up the good work!

Here is another fabulous first by a young woman to check out:
Aimee Mullins - She was born without fibular bones and had both of her legs amputated below the knees as an infant. She was a record breaker at the Paralympic Games in 1996. SHE WAS THE FIRST double amputee to compete in NCAA Division 1 track and field. Google her and check out her videos on an inspiring web site - ted.com She is truly an inspiration to women everywhere.
